CONCENTRATED SOLAR POWER (CSP) PROJECT
Industrial motion controller. Solar tracking algorithm implementation for a 15-meter solar concentrator dish. Microsoft Visual.NET front-end GUI, Parker ACS motion controller, calibration routines for AZ and EL at POR, tracks sunrise to sunset then resets for next sunrise, soft/hard limiting.
WIRELESS DETONATION SEQUENCER FOR MOTION PICTURE INDUSTRY SPECIAL-EFFECTS
Microchip-based embedded hardware/software. MPLAB development environment. 433Mhz ISM band RF solution with software-based encoder/decoder.
RADIATION TESTING ON FOREIGN SEMICONDUCTOR COMPONENTS
Characterization of Eastern Bloc (Czech, Russian, etc) semiconductor chips culminating in radiation testing performed in an underground concrete maze at the Naval Surface Warfare Center near Indianapolis Indiana.
SATELLITE-BASED EXPERIMENT BOARDS
Circuit cards and firmware for testing radiation-hardened semiconductor devices as they 'fly' through the ion belt on MAPLE and STRV satellites launched from a Space Shuttle.
PORTABLE SPORTS (SQUASH) TRAINING AND PERFORMANCE TRACKING DEVICE
