In this cutting-edge R&D effort, WTSI designed and built several ultra-low-noise four-channel test platforms for sensing the release of post-TBI (traumatic brain injury) proteins in the human bloodstream with the aid of cutting-edge nano-wire technology 'chips' which were designed and fabricated by customer.

 

custom hardware features: 16-bit DSP processor, ultra-low noise (sub-16 uVrms) power section , sub-nanoamp AFE circuit, 24bit/250kSPS sigma-delta ADCs, lock-in-amplifier circuit with 9.3 milli-radian rms phase-detection sensitivity,  USB interface
